Maison Kervell
The Garden
and Outside

The garden has ben lovingly planted. From what was just a grassy bank a shrubbery and herbaceous garden has been created, giving colour and interest the whole year round.
The orchard is very well stocked with fruit trees providing cherries, apples, pears, peaches, apricots, plums, damsons, figs, walnuts, as well as raspberries and blackberries.
There are many places to sit and enjoy looking at the garden as well as having meals outside.
Under the pergola with its colourful climbing plants in the summer is a delightful place to eat - there is a large retractable awning to provide shade for those hot summer days. There is a set
of steps up the bank leading to another secluded seating area.
With a sit-on mower the grass in the orchard is very easy to keep cut.
The garden is very sheltered and private which adds to the pleasure of the house and garden.
The large garage offers plenty of room for a car and the sit-on mower, plus storage of logs, etc.
The roof space is partially boarded, giving even more storage space.
The gravel drive easily accommodates four cars.
There is a small shed close to the utility entrance handly for keeping garden chairs, cushions and umbrellas as well as gardening tools. Tucked away at the side of the utility, with a side gate, is a very useful area for keeping the refuse bin, water butts and plenty of room for storing additional logs.
